Organic Spray Tans

We recommend the day or two before your event or trip. Your spray tan is the LAST appointment you need to make to prepare for your special occasion. Be sure to get your nails done, waxes in, hair appointments all finished before coming in for a tan. 

Pedicures and nail appointments require you to soak in water which make cause your spray tan to prematurely fade and look uneven.

- Before coming in, make sure you take care of any waxing or shaving needs.
- Be sure to exfoliate really well in your shower the night before.
- Manicures and Pedicures are recommended before getting a spray tan.
- Never apply makeup, deodorant, or lotion to the skin 6-12 hours leading up to your appointment. 

- You can wear whatever you would like your tan line to be. 

- Our tans are performed by a trained technician and will always make you feel comfortable. 

- REMEMBER to bring dark colored, loose fitting clothes and flip flops to wear after your service. 

- Tight clothes can damage the development. We do provide disposable garments and masks should you request them. 

 • Do not swim/workout until after your first shower. Avoid all contact with water prior to your first shower. This prevents streaks and drip marks.

• Just rinse off in your first shower until the water runs clear. The bronzer will wash off and show in the tub. DON’T PANIC! This is normal.

• In your next shower, use soap in your hands only. No loofas, washcloths, or sponges. Wait 24 hours after your first shower to shave.

• Pat your skin or air dry after showers.

• Moisturize as soon as you are done showering. This helps your tan to last longer, look healthy, and appear more natural. Try to moisturize twice a day

for best results. Sjolie Tan Extender works BEST. 

Other lotions may cause uneven fading or discoloration. Use 1-2 times a day. The tanning agent will develop 2-3 hours after applying to the skin. Wait 8 hours between applications. Wash hands after use.

Unfortunately, skin that is peeling or burnt and will peel within the next few days, it is not ideal to get a spray tan on top. The spray tan may not apply evenly, and it could highlight the peeling areas, which can make your skin look patchy. It's really important to let your skin heal first so that we can give you the best, most even tan possible. Once your skin is fully healed, we’d be happy to get you booked for your next tan!

After you rinse the spray tan solution, your skin will be glowy and perfect. Getting a facial or massage will cause your tan to exfoliate and lighten tremendously and appear uneven immediately after. Be sure to get these services done first before your spray tan.
