Lash Lift & Tinting

Additional Information

Lash lifts and tints are one of the hottest trends in the beauty industry! If you suffer from straight or lightly colored lashes, this service is for you. It is a perm (but without chemicals like parabens or formaldehyde),  for your natural eyelashes. It uplifts and curls them from the base of  the lash, making them stand out and look longer. This is also an ideal service for clients that may have allergies to lash extensions.

The lash lift process takes approximately 45-60 minutes to apply. The lash tint takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

The lash lift typically lasts about 6-8 weeks. Your lashes will gradually drop evenly over this period of time.

The Process

1. The eyes and your natural lashes are cleaned thoroughly.

2. An under eye gel patch is placed on the lower lashes to prevent them from curling upwards.

3. Silicone pads are placed on the upper eyelids to hold them in place while the perm solution is applied.

4. The lashes are thoroughly combed.

5. A perm solution is applied to prepare the lashes for curling.

6. A setting solution is applied to the lashes and they are lifted upwards over the silicone pads.

7. A tint solution is applied to the lashes.

8. The lash tint is removed and the lashes are cleaned.

9. The lashes are combed and the silicone pads are removed.

Before Your Appointment

  1. Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild, oil-free, water based cleanser with a lint-free cloth. Do not use makeup remover pads or cotton.
  2. Remove your contact lenses or bring a case with you to remove the lenses prior to eyelash application.
  3. Limit your intake of caffeine before you come. Caffeine can cause your eyelashes to flutter making application more difficult resulting in fewer lashes applied. Plan on spending 1 to 2.5 hours for your  appointment.
  4. Limit your intake of liquids before your appointment, if you must get up during the appointment, it will lower the amount of lashes that can be applied with in your appointment time frame.
